Flue dust, copper refining is defined as :

"Product recovered from exhaust gas streams found in furnaces, flues and settling chambers as a result of roasting, smelting and converting operations from copper refining processes. Constituents found as end products are dependent upon the materials used during the various operations."

The Joint Registration dossier was successfully submitted to ECHA on 23rd August 2010. Members of the ECI-managed Consortium, along with any purchasers of the appropriate Letter of Access, were provided with the necessary documents, plus the required REACH IT security token.

ECI's REACH Classification, Labelling and Packaging proposals for Flue dust, copper refining have been assessed in the REACH dossier i accordance with Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 and the CLP Regulation (EC) 1272/2008. The rationales for thse proposals are contained in the Joint Submission dossier submitted to ECHA by the Lead Registrant.

ECI will continue to offer Letters of Access to registrants. The ECHA registration deadline is June 1st 2013 for tonnages between 100 and 1,000 T and June 1st 2018 for tonnages between 1 and 100 T.
