The European Copper Institute promotes copper usage across Europe through eleven national Copper Development Associations and its Brussels-based coordination centre.

Our network comprises fifty people, an annual budget of €11 million and more than 75 years’ experience in copper promotion.

We work to communicate the benefits that copper and copper alloy products bring to modern society. A strong background in building construction and electric & electronic markets is strengthened by extensive knowledge of the European regulatory arena and national laws.

We have access to the extensive research capabilities of the International Copper Association, which has successfully used media relations to position copper as an ideal material to support the goals of a sustainable world.

We provide Secretariat services to the REACH Copper Consortium, a standalone business venture open to all potential REACH registrants. Its main objective is to maximise the efficiency and cost effectiveness of its members' efforts to meet their REACH obligations for copper.
